How Do I Connect To ASCAC On-line?

ASCAC ON-LINE is a service that can be accessed using a local telephone call throughout the United States or throughout the world via the Internet. All of the dial-up connections to ASCAC ON-LINE are via 28.8 - 56 Kbps modems. There is a $25.00 setup fee that includes a licensed version of Netscape Personal Edition.

Personal Account
New ASCAC ON-LINE memberships are available at a price of $19.95. Includes 5MB Website, FTP Account, and Internet Software.

Business Account

Business Accounts are available at a price of $24.95. Includes 30MB Website, Domain Name, FTP Account, and Internet Software.

To sign up, print out the ASCAC ONLINE APPLICATION and mail it in. You will receive diskettes within 1 - 2 weeks.

ASCAC On-line Purpose

ASCAC ON-LINE will leverage technology and information systems to further the purpose of ASCAC by reaching people regionally, nationally, and internationally.

ASCAC provides a body of knowledge that continuously contributes to the rescue, reconstruction, and restoration of African history and culture. ASCAC's purpose is to promote the study of African civilizations for the development of an African world view. ASCAC's aim is to build African centered study groups and strengthen existing institutions.

ASCAC ON-LINE will link African-Centered thinkers around the world in a collaborative effort to rescue, reconstruct, and restore African history and culture. ASCAC ON-LINE will foster dialogue pertaining to topics and events of vital interest to Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora. ASCAC ON-LINE will use cyberspace to develop a cosmic consciousness for the global community of Africans.

ASCAC ON-LINE is an economic program of ASCAC. ASCAC ON-LINE will provide to ASCAC an income up to 5% of a members monthly charges. ASCAC directly benefits by increasing the number of ASCAC ON-LINE members.
